Hi, there. I'm Kathleen Harper, a certified animal communicator, intuitive life coach, healer, pet owner and sitter, author, wife, and mom to two incredible young men.
This past January, on a routine vet visit, our beloved cat Traviesa was diagnosed with a tumor under her tongue. At 16 years old, she had lived a lovely, long life with us, but my family and I were heartbroken. Even knowing that ending her life soon was the most humane thing to do, we still struggled with the decision. I wanted much more information than what the vets could offer.
Using tools I had learned in Clairvoyant coursework, I found out what Traviesa could eat in her last bit of time with us (same food, just arranged in tiny, nibble-sized clumps) and learned what she wanted the most (my oldest son home from college to say goodbye).
But my family and I wanted to know more. Was Traviesa ready to transition? How much pain was she in? Did she understand what was happening? We needed to make a quick decision due to her pain and lack of treatment options and I wasn't able to find an animal intuitive who could help on such short notice. We let our beloved cat go in an experience Glennon Doyle would describe as "brutiful" ("beautiful + brutal") without knowing the answers to our questions.
Wanting to help other people who were experiencing sadness and frustration with not knowing what their beloved pets needed, I completed the Animal Healing and Communication Certification course at Psychic Horizons Center, the school where I'm currently enrolled in their Clairvoyant program. I now work with pet owners to help their animals transition and also to provide insight about behavioral issues, offer healing and balancing techniques, and get in touch with pets who have passed,
What I do ...
In my work, I'm passionate about creating an alchemistic blend of healing by integrating my animal communication work with my life coach training, Clairvoyant learning, Tarot work, and 20 years of experience as a certified massage therapist and energy work practitioner. As a life coach, I provide healing and support to both you and your pet in our time together.
When I’m not working with clients, I’m pet sitting and collaborating with my son on our co-owned Rover business, enjoying a walk with my rescued mini poodle Jasper and her visiting four-legged friends, reading a book (ideally with our new kitten MacKenzie on my lap), crafting with fabric scraps, tile, and paper, or spending time—often in the backyard—with my husband, sons, and friends.
If you're interested in learning more, you can sign up for my semi-regular newsletters with musings, special offers, and sometimes even crafting tutorials, if I'm working on something fun that turned out well.
